President Kenyatta has announced that Kenya will donate Sh87 million to Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia to help in the fight against Ebola.

This donation according to the president is in line with Kenya’s foreign policy on African solidarity.

Standing in solidarity with our African brothers and sisters during times of adversity is part of our foreign policy,” President Kenyatta said.

Ebola has so far claimed over 2000 lives in Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Guinea and the World Health Organization IS warning that Liberia is set to experience more infections from the Ebola epidemic in the coming weeks.
